Team & Parents

We asked the players and parents what Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy FC meant to them:

Joe - "Having fun with my team and getting the chance to score goals"

Emre - "It's amazing because I get to play football with people like me"

Samuel - "I like football and have made lots of new friends"

Jackson - "CP football has allowed me to play football with people just like me. I have made some great friends, and look forward to every Saturday."

Tim (Will's Dad) - "For Gavin and Tracy, with the help of Rob, to have created this wonderful environment for our kids to come and enjoy themselves is truly a great effort. I didn't think I would ever see Will playing football, let alone love it as much as he does."

Michelle (Billy's Mum) - "Gavin I love you for the way you have given Billy a new path in his life that he loves so much, and Tracy I love you for all the hard work and support you give us. As I said to Rob you don't just support and help the boys each week, you support and help us as families and we have made great lifelong friends and for that I love you even more."

Dave (Thomas' Dad) - "Thomas does not stop talking about the goal he scored, even if it was at the wrong end! His speech has also improved since doing football."

Nina (Lenny's Mum) - "Thank you for creating a place that feels like home, where our beloved children are safe, secure, equal and valued. We really feel like part of a family now."

Mark (Aaron's Dad) - "It really is amazing how well the club is run and I know Aaron just loves playing football with all the other boys. The togetherness they all show is so lovely."
